Wingman Event Breaks 2.2 Million Views Online

Red Bull Dirt Pipe, an idea 7 years in the making that burst on the scene and became a global sensation amongst not only the BMX scene but the action sports industry alike, has recently ticked over a massive 2.2M viewers online and is still growing 2 years on.

Fusing together the dynamic worlds of snowboard super pipe and the dirt jumping mayhem that only BMX can bring to the table, a huge dirt halfpipe was carved over several months from the fertile soil of the Victorian snow fields in Australia, the dirt pipe ran 120 metres into a secret Mt Beauty Valley, standing an intimidating 4 metres high and bristled with wall rides, hips and street inspired extensions to push the riders to the limits of their riding skills and imagination.

The event, produced by Sydney's Wingman Marketing in conjunction with Red Bull Australia, has been a huge hit and continues to prove the power of brands that are closely in touch with their consumers, and the true value of unique modern marketing concepts and strategies.

As always, big thanks to everyone involved in this project over the years.
